GP2018R2 SmartList and Navigation List Mass Update
Mass update a group of master records from the Navigation Lists.
In the navigation list you can inactivate and reactivate multiple records at the same time for the following:
Accounts – Financial | Cards | Account
Checkbooks – Financial | Cards | Checkbook
Customers – Sales | Cards | Customer
Vendors – Purchasing | Cards | Vendor
Items – Inventory | Cards | Item
Employees – HR & Payroll | Cards | Employee
Here is what the vendor navigation lists looks like. You can also mass update the temporary status.
A visual indicator quickly lets you know the status of these records as well.
After Refresh it shows that Electronic Telephone was updated as Inactive.
However, when you Print the report it will show that the other two could not be made inactive.
ELECRON0001 has open transactions
FABRIKAM0001 is assigned to Open Purchase orders.
