Microsoft Dynamics GP US 2016 Payroll Tax Update released

Yes the Microsoft Dynamics GP US 2016 Payroll Tax Update released on January 15, 2016 and is available to download and install.

Round 2 of Microsoft Dynamics GP US 2016 Payroll Tax Update has released for versions:

Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 on Microsoft SQL Server

Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 on Microsoft SQL Server

This update includes both Tax table updates and program code changes.

No changes to the federal taxes are included in this update. (If you have previously installed the 2016 tax update Round 1.)

Changes included in this tax update include changes for the following States:

  • Alabama
  • District of Columbia
  • Maine
  • Missouri
  • North Dakota
  • Oregon
  • Rhode Island
  • Vermont

*NOTE* If you have employees in Alabama or Maine that are subject to payroll taxes, you will need to install both the tax tables update and program code changes.

*NOTE* If you have not installed the 2016 Tax Update Round 1, they will be included in the update and included Federal tax changes as well as tax changes to the following states:

  • California
  • Connecticut
  • Illinois
  • Kentucky
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts
  • Minnesota
  • New Mexico
  • New York City North Carolina
  • Oklahoma
